That was a tough loss. The truth is that they are all tough losses but Can U Dig It could hit and they had some talent in the outfield. Holding THE TEAM to 6 runs doesn't happen very often. Brutal.

THE TEAM batted .469 with two home runs, two triples, one walk and four strikeouts. We started strong and went cold.
We are going to go with an Elvis theme to acknowledge outstanding effort this season. Lou went 2 for 3 with 2 hime runs and 2 RBIs. Andrew went 3 for 3 with 2 triples and 2 RBIs. They both get peanutbutter and banana sandwiches.
Dora went 2 for 3 so she gets Gladys' favorite, the pink Cadillac.
There was lots of hustle out there and there are still 9 games left to win

If we can get 50% more productivity from hitting, and not leave as many runners stranded, and cut WAY down on the errors, we got this team, the other teams and the championship. A lotta balls just fell into their gloves and we were hitting, but not like I know we can and when we did hit, we left runners stranded. Plus Jenny and Melody were sorely missed.
Have I mentioned I hate that team?
