Softball Dream

Over the weekend, I dreamt that we played a softball team from MIT or some such university. They kept changing the rules on us, and developing all of these crazy technical techniques to gain an advantage. One of them involved constructing some huge wooden enclosure around the pitcher's mound leaving me only about a 1' wide gap for me to throw the ball out of. I kept getting pissed off but they told me everything was legal according to the rule book.

Stupid rule book.

Was Robin Williams on our team? Did he tell you in a bad Boston accent that "It's not your fault" 900 times in a row and give you a big bear hug?

Because that would have been a totally awesome dream.

That would have been awesome, but sadly, no Mr. Williams. If I see an MIT team on the roster this season, I'm going to buy a lottery ticket.

Sidebar: I think Technical Techniques would be a great band name.

...or not.

Have you been eating lots of pizza or something before you go to bed? You have a lot of vivid dreams lately.
